Ramadan Kareem!

Hey everyone!

This month marks the beginning of Ramadan—a sacred time in Islam, observed by millions of Muslims around the world as a month of fasting, reflection, spiritual growth, and community. What really stood out to me while learning about Ramadan is that it’s about so much more than just fasting. It’s a time to purify the soul, practice self-control, increase acts of worship, give to charity, and seek forgiveness and a closer connection to God.

After speaking with others about the significance of this month, I learned that Ramadan is also seen as one of the best times to work on self-improvement and becoming a better version of yourself—something I strive for every day. Spiritually, it’s believed to be a time when the gates of mercy are wide open, blessings are multiplied, and it becomes easier to break bad habits and replace them with good ones. Many people see Ramadan as an opportunity to reset—not just in their faith, but also in their routines, mindset, and relationships.

Because you’re already in this state of discipline (like fasting, being more mindful of your actions, and focusing on worship), it creates the perfect environment to reflect on where you are in life and make meaningful changes. Whether it’s quitting a harmful habit, improving your health, being kinder, praying more consistently, or just becoming more grateful—Ramadan gives you that push. Plus, there’s this beautiful sense of community and motivation. Everyone around you is striving to be better, so it feels like you’re part of something bigger than yourself, which can be really encouraging.

I hope to learn and grow from this month, striving to become a better person—pursuing my dreams with more strength and building good habits to support that journey. A number of changes are on the horizon for me, especially after this coming month. With any luck, my travels will be resuming soon, and I may even be working on something new… hint hint.

I plan to keep everyone updated as time goes on, and once I’ve gained a solid foothold, you’ll be the first to know. Keep an eye out for a new domain in the coming months, and best of luck to everyone on their own journey!

For the Muslims who are observing Ramadan, طَعْمَعْ وَطَبْ بِخَيْر 🙏
